New Reports this Week

2/26 2310Z (1610 local Thursday afternoon): A Be36 was landing at Durango, Colorado, when it “experienced a crosswind resulting in a runway excursion.” The two aboard the turbocharged Bonanza escaped injury despite “substantial” airplane damage. N2251Q (EA-604) is a 1997 B36TC.

3/1 0059Z (1659 local Sunday afternoon): During a multiengine instructional flight in a Be76 the instructor was presenting “a simulated single-engine landing” when the Duchess “veered off [the] runway into a hangar” at Snohomish, Washington. The two aboard were unhurt but the airplane suffered “substantial” damage. N1850N (ME-429) is a 1981 Beech 76.

3/3 2300Z (1500 local Tuesday afternoon): A Be24 “landed gear up and veered off [the] runway” at Hayward, California. The two aboard the Sierra were not hurt and damage is “minor.” N9721L (MC-100) is a 1972 A24R.
