New Reports This Week
6/17 1726Z (1126 local Wednesday afternoon): A Be35’s landing gear collapsed while landing at Greeley, Colorado. The two aboard were unhurt and airplane damage is “unknown.” N4275S (D-9961) is a 1977 V35B.

6/19 0155Z (1955 local Thursday evening 6/18/26): A Be65 “landed and experienced partial gear collapse” at Denver, Colorado. The solo pilot was not injured; damage to the Queen Air is “unknown.” N5079E (LF-52) is a 1962 Model 65.

6/24 1540Z (1140 local Wednesday morning): A Be58 landed gear up at Traverse City, Michigan. The solo pilot was uninjured and airplane damage is “unknown.” N96GB (TH-882) is a 1977 Baron 58.

6/24 1845Z (1345 local Wednesday afternoon): A Be24 landed gear up at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Sierra’s pilot, alone in the airplane, was not hurt. Airplane damage is not reported. N6164C (MC-769) is a 1981 C24R.

1/2 B35 stall/spin during takeoff at La Casa, Texas.
2/9 B19 Sport right main gear failure during landing and subsequent runway excursion at Umatillia, Florida. Change “Hard landing” to “Right main gear failure/Corrosion/Loss of directional control during landing.”
2/17 V35B gear retraction prior to attaining a positive rate of climb and subsequent gear up landing at Gulf Shores, Alabama. Change “Takeoff/Unknown” to “Gear retraction prior to attaining a positive rate of climb and subsequent gear up landing” in what the NTSB called an “abnormal runway contact” after the airplane “briefly became airborne” and the pilot “initially tried to continue the takeoff” before he “elected to reject the takeoff and land on the remaining runway.” Add “substantial damage” and “VMC.”
